Senior Solicitor Joins Our Norwich Team

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ian Mellor who joins our established team of talented underwriters in Norwich from Aviva, the UK’s largest insurance company. Ian will lead our Norwich team as Head of Office.

Ian has over 10 years’ experience working in the real estate and insurance sectors, having been a transactional property lawyer at Mills & Reeve LLP for five years before joining Aviva.

During his seven-year tenure at Aviva, Ian was a senior lawyer for Aviva Investors Real Estate Finance and has since 2015 supported material activities for the UK insurance business, including distribution through strategic partners. Ian also spent time with legal teams supporting businesses in Ireland and France, and the Group function legal team in London where he gained corporate M&A experience.
